My second EP for Standard Klik (now IOD, part of the SEM label), working with similar acoustic concerns and processes to Climate – simple analog synth tones, amplified, looped and manipulated in improvised sessions. Loops and rhythms take a stronger role in these pieces, and the distortions and dissonances are buffeted by a lighter drift to the acoustics and progression of each track.
