My background/experience in acoustics includes room acoustics (focus on performing arts spaces), noise and vibration control, and some audio-visual design. I am particularly interested in stage acoustics and acoustics for contemporary music performance.
My Master’s Thesis in Architectural Acoustics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute examines parameters for stage acoustics in telepresence environments and is available here.
My Doctoral Dissertation in Architectural Acoustics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute examines spatial parameters for stage acoustics using higher-order ambisonics and real-time auralization. A compressed version is available here. If you would like the uncompressed version, please send me an email at ag (at) fraufraulein (dot) com.
