Musical Ecologies Performance at Old Stone House, Brooklyn

New composition performed on November 13, 2014 at the Old Stone House in Brooklyn as part of the Musical Ecologies series, curated by Dan Joseph. Three Nymphs Supporting a Clock, 1788 uses recorded elements of Monteverdi’s Zefiro Torna and field recordings from Mt. Greylock, MA and the Frick Gallery, NYC, low-frequency standing waves, and live performance to create a spatially-shifting site-specific installation. Also on the program, a performance of Remarks on Color, a joint composition by Billy and myself.
